About the position

The Associate Product Manager will support the management of the Process Liquids portfolio within Thermo Fisher's Biologicals and Chemicals Business Unit. This role involves developing long-range product strategies, guiding fiscal planning, tracking revenue and market share objectives, and acting as a product champion with internal partners and regional teams. The position requires close collaboration with sales and technical support teams, participation in customer visits, and involvement in pricing tactics and customer support. The successful candidate will also assist in launching products and managing the life cycle of the existing product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of the Process Liquids portfolio.
  • Develop long-range product strategies and guide fiscal planning.
  • Track revenue, margin, customer happiness, and market share objectives.
  • Act as a product champion with internal partners and regional teams.
  • Develop close relationships with field organization through training and participation in the sales process.
  • Deliver successful product launches through requirements, development, and commercialization.
  • Assist in handling the life cycle of the existing product portfolio.
  • Participate in the three-year product line strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications and other business units to coordinate marketing activities.
  • Assist in identifying and developing promotional and sales tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with strong analytical abilities.
  • 1-3 years' experience in product management, field applications, marketing, or operations roles.
  • Deep understanding of customer workflow and requirements in product portfolio management.
  • Strong management, project management, and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix interpersonal structure and with global multi-cultural teams.
  • Outcome-oriented with a strong desire to measure the success of initiatives.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Products: PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI.
