About the position

The Associate Product Manager for Process Liquids at Thermo Fisher Scientific will support the management of the Process Liquids portfolio within the Biologicals and Chemicals Business Unit. This role involves developing long-range product strategies, guiding fiscal planning, tracking revenue and market share objectives, and acting as a product champion with internal partners and regional teams. The position requires close collaboration with sales and technical support teams, participation in customer visits, and involvement in product launches and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of the Process Liquids portfolio.
  • Develop long-range product strategies and guide fiscal planning.
  • Track revenue, margin, customer happiness, and market share objectives.
  • Act as a product champion with internal partners and regional teams.
  • Develop close relationships with field organization through training and participation in the sales process.
  • Deliver successful product launches through requirements, development, and commercialization.
  • Assist in handling the life cycle of the existing product portfolio.
  • Participate in the three-year product line strategies and pricing/margin optimization.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications and other business units for marketing activities.
  • Assist in identifying and developing promotional and sales tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-3 years' experience in product management, field applications, marketing, or operations roles.
  • Strong analytical abilities and general knowledge of biological sciences.
  • Competence in product portfolio management and understanding of customer workflow.
  • Strong management, project management, and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix interpersonal structure and with global multi-cultural teams.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Products: PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with the PCP process.
  • Experience in developing marketing communications activities and plans.
