About the position

The U.S. Hip Marketing Associate Product Manager at Smith+Nephew is responsible for executing downstream marketing strategies to drive revenue growth in the Primary and Revision Hip Reconstruction Market. This role involves collaboration with Sales Teams, Global Marketing, Medical Education, and Sales Training to implement effective marketing strategies and ensure commercial execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the hip reconstruction market landscape, including market trends, customer priorities, and competitive landscape.
  • Support the commercial team with technical product support in the field and corporate offices to ensure customer conversion and satisfaction.
  • Execute go-to-market plans for assigned product lines, including promotions, medical education, digital marketing, channel readiness, and inventory management.
  • Participate in monthly reviews of progress and updates for the Supply Chain and Global Business.
  • Work with Sales Leadership to develop tools and resources to support product line efforts.
  • Recommend potential reference sites and assist with site relationship management.
  • Partner with the sales team to define and implement effective targeting and develop physician champions.
  • Support industry educational meetings, on-site customer meetings, labs, and national sales meetings.
  • Cultivate relationships with key customers, internal stakeholders, and the sales organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, marketing, biomechanical engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of proven marketing experience, preferably in the orthopaedic market.
