About the position

The Associate Product Manager (APM) role is a developmental position within the Product Management team, designed for individuals looking to grow their careers in product management. The APM will manage one or more assigned products, focusing on product development, innovation, and achieving corporate objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role offers high growth potential and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manages one or more assigned products in support of Product Development, Product Innovation, Sales, Profit, Quality, Availability and Service Goals.
  • Executes strategies in alignment with product category to achieve product vision.
  • Develops plans to execute product strategies to meet corporate objectives and serve customers.
  • Contributes to product roadmap, assisting with aligning internal and external direction.
  • Drives product innovation within the product offering.
  • Develops new product development through the Corporate Stage Gate Process.
  • Develops and manages a deep understanding of assigned products.
  • Sets pricing for assigned products.
  • Executes product lifestyle planning activity for products assigned (NPD through EOL).
  • Possesses knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics.
  • Contributes to a workplace environment that is conducive to the maintenance of the Code.
  • Reports actual or perceived violations of the Code or Company policies and procedures for appropriate action.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in a marketing, product management, engineering, customer service or other relevant role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Science/Technical degree is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant major will also be considered.
  • Excellent communications, organizational, and mathematical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in New Product Development.
  • Experience in customer field research (e.g., ethnographic research).
  • Experience in product marketing.
  • Industry-specific work experience (i.e., Commercial Laboratory, Foodservice, Healthcare).
