About the position

The Associate Product Manager at MAT Industries, LLC is responsible for managing several SKU intensive categories and overseeing the product launch process from conception to production. This dynamic role requires effective communication of strategic category plans and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion. The position is based on-site at the manufacturing facility in Jackson, TN or Springfield, MN, and reports directly to the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Manage several SKU intensive categories and oversee product launches from conception to production.
• Communicate the strategic category plan and annual planning horizons to cross-functional teams.
• Work with third-party vendors to ensure competitive costs, high quality, and timely project completion.
• Conduct strategic analysis to support marketing objectives and communicate annual planning horizons for import and domestic products.
• Evaluate market trends and perform competitive analysis to inform product positioning.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Supply Chain resources to create and qualify products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in launching products from conception to production and distribution within consumer retail, independent dealers, and rental markets.
• Effective communication and strong project management skills.
• Proven team player with a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to interface with all levels of management and across functional groups.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Solid Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel & Word).
• Ability to write clearly and conduct data analysis.
