About the position
Fusion Health is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join their Engineering team. This role involves participating in various projects aimed at redefining how the company prioritizes and delivers its products. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player with a passion for achieving results, contributing to the development of HealthTech solutions for underserved patients.
Responsibilities
- Developing requirements documents, functional specifications, business flow, and mock-ups to illustrate product ideas and concepts.
- Refining the product backlog based on user/customer findings or team feedback during the development process.
- Working with developers to ensure user needs are technically feasible and maximize engineering efficiency.
- Assisting with authoring technical guides, release notes, and other product literature.
- Conducting research to understand customer needs, new technologies, market trends, and competitors.
- Participating in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and release of products.
- Being accessible to the development team to answer questions and provide product knowledge during development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a similar field.
- 1-3 years of experience in software product management, business analysis, or software project/program management.
- Proven experience working cross-functionally in a software development environment.
- Strong ownership, analytical and technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under tight timelines while maintaining high accuracy and output.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders from multiple teams at various levels.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, specifically Scaled Agile and Scrum.
