About the position

The Associate Product Manager for FastenMaster at OMG Inc. plays a crucial role in driving sales growth for innovative wood-to-wood fastening products. This position serves as a bridge between various departments, ensuring alignment and collaboration to enhance product offerings based on market needs and customer feedback. The role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to product management.

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees.
• Lead new product development initiatives and engage end users to analyze market needs and recommend product improvements.
• Recommend pricing changes based on cost understanding and analysis of end user willingness to spend.
• Research market potential, current market share, and competitive product positioning, providing recommendations to the team.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate and develop ideas fitting the overall product vision.
• Communicate clearly and compellingly as the subject matter expert on FastenMaster technical products with cross-functional teams.
• Create product support and training documents for internal and external users.
• Support Service Delivery Managers, Operations, and Sales teams in driving product needs and continuous process improvement.
• Achieve key performance indicators entrusted to the role.
• Support the Technical Management team with necessary data for industry approvals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in sales, marketing, or product management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a strong bias for action.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, talk, hear, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Able to participate in construction job site visits.
• Strong PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to work flexible hours with some weekends required.
• Positive can-do attitude.
