About the position

The Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) at EMARKETER is responsible for scaling go-to-market and messaging initiatives, focusing on how to effectively communicate the company's value to clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders. This role involves collaboration with various teams to translate product and content launches into audience-appropriate messaging and materials, supporting both new business and account management efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the GTM of product, subscription content, and media product launches by developing messaging, conducting research, and supporting marketing strategy
  • Conduct competitive research, win/loss interviews, and market research to disseminate to stakeholders in the organization
  • Collaborate with the sales enablement team to develop internal materials such as battlecards, training materials, call scripts, etc.
  • Partner with the Demand Generation team to hone messaging and positioning in marketing campaigns, and offer targeted segment support
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to develop client & prospect-facing materials such as eBooks, presentations, whitepapers, case studies, testimonials, etc.
  • Analyze key product marketing asset performance metrics to determine what's working and make recommendations
  • Support customer marketing initiatives such as the Product Advisory Council, onboarding material development, quarterly newsletters, and more.

  • Strong storytelling skills with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to develop and execute projects such as competitive intelligence and case study creation
  • Customer journey minded with the ability to develop strategies for creating pipeline for new offerings
  • Solution-oriented with the ability to link product launches and positioning to organizational campaign themes and goals
  • Strong collaboration and team player skills to manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery and high-quality execution
  • Self-starter with initiative to solve problems and suggest creative approaches

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems such as Salesforce and Sigma
