About the position

The Associate Product Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining marketing tools, sales training programs, and communication materials for PCA and Ambulatory pump platforms. This position collaborates closely with the Global Product Manager and the global commercial team to monitor market trends, build marketing collateral, and recommend product improvements to enhance category growth and product adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product knowledge and serve as a resource for customers, Sales, and Contracts personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing organization to provide input to product design, development, and release processes for PCA and Ambulatory products.
  • Support Marketing, Sales, and clinical support teams by developing and maintaining various marketing collateral, including training presentations and marketing content.
  • Conduct technical analysis of competitive products to establish differentiations and feature/benefit statements.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends through published papers and studies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing product offerings and communicate these to the upstream product development team.
  • Provide product knowledge and training to internal stakeholders.
  • Establish trade show presence, messaging, and salesforce training.
  • Respond to RFP and RFI requests for PCA and Ambulatory platforms.
  • Manage trade show budget and attendance for the infusion systems business unit.
  • Coordinate with Sales leadership and Marketing Communications to determine trade show attendance and effectiveness.
  • Work with Infusion Systems Marketing Managers to develop digital and social media needs.
  • Develop online analytics and social campaign opportunities to drive business.
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing and Marketing Communications for social/online opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required; MBA and/or technical undergraduate degree is a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in product marketing with an understanding of current marketing and communication trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various decision makers.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Background in medical device marketing is highly desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior product management experience is preferred but not required.
