About the position

The Associate Product Marketing Manager at SEGA will play a crucial role in connecting games and players through innovative marketing strategies. This position involves supporting marketing efforts for SEGA and ATLUS titles, managing marketing activations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support product marketing tactics and execution for the product's entire lifecycle.
  • Execute on consumer product, digital and physical retail, and first party partnership opportunities.
  • Align with cross-functional and international teams to deliver integrated marketing activations.
  • Support best-in-class production of creative advertising and product assets, by working with internal departments and external vendors as required.
  • Manage product marketing approval process across creative services, business, legal and accounting.
  • Collaborate with media agencies, creative agencies, event agencies, and promotional partnerships alongside respective cross-functional teams.
  • Build relationships across the organization to supply them with key player and marketing insights to continue to better marketing activations.
  • Maintain and track marketing budgets with oversight from Sr. Product Marketing Manager, including budget reconciliation, invoice processing, and budget tracking to ensure accuracy of fiscal year spend.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a marketing role within gaming, entertainment or consumer products.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Ability to support initiatives with a focus on KPI / ROI metrics.
  • Experience in project management, with demonstrated ability to work well with multiple teams.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • An active gamer with knowledge of the current gaming landscape.
  • Knowledge and interest in SEGA and/or ATLUS games, specifically Japanese-developed RPGs.
  • Interest and experience in Anime industry or brands.
  • Experience working with Japanese or Asian entertainment publishers.
  • Ability to identify and analyze marketing trends, and apply data to produce fact-driven recommendations.

  • Competitive salary range of $80,000.00 - $105,000.00
