About the position

The Product Marketing Associate role at Nuveen is pivotal in managing and updating existing marketing collateral, campaigns, and digital/web content. This position is part of the Generalist team, which collaborates closely with the Public Product Positioning team to create new content and messaging for product launches, campaigns, and strategic initiatives. The role also involves working with the Marketing Services team to oversee content and updates across the full suite of marketing materials. Product marketing at Nuveen is responsible for supporting all actively marketed products throughout their entire lifecycle—from conception and launch to growth, promotion, and eventual closures or mergers. The team is tasked with creating standard materials for the complete range of products and campaign content for highly promoted products. Additionally, the team supports both U.S. and non-U.S. distribution channels and partners closely with marketing colleagues globally to ensure an integrated marketing approach. This position requires close collaboration with various departments, including marketing, product management, client portfolio management, and investments, to raise awareness of Nuveen's products and effectively grow and retain assets. Key responsibilities include managing and implementing updates to marketing collateral and web content, such as presentations, strategy profiles, product commentaries, web pages, and various sales-support materials. The associate will collaborate with design, content, social, and digital teams to execute and measure marketing initiatives, ensuring proper alignment of resources. Furthermore, the role involves working with the compliance department to ensure that all materials meet FINRA and SEC regulatory guidelines, supporting the compliance process from initial submission to final approval. The associate is also expected to take the initiative to explore new approaches to increase efficiency and improve processes without sacrificing creativity or quality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement updates of marketing collateral and web content including presentations, strategy profiles, product commentaries, web pages, paid search, paid social, display ads and other sales-support materials and content.
  • Collaborate with design, content, social and digital teams to execute and measure marketing initiatives and ensure proper alignment of resources.
  • Work with compliance department to ensure materials meet FINRA and/or SEC regulatory guidelines and support compliance process from initial submission to final approval.
  • Explore new approaches to increase efficiency and improve processes without sacrificing creativity or quality.

Requirements

  • University degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience managing updates to marketing materials, presentations, website content, paid search, and social media.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe, Zoom, Seismic, and MarTech workflow tools.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to express complex issues succinctly and clearly to business partners.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Experience with managing a broad range of initiatives and demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
  • Comfortable operating in/with a multi-location and multi-national extended team.
  • Able to operate under time pressure and multi-task.
  • Proven ability to network within an organization.
  • Enthusiastic individual, with a collegial approach, able to work in a culturally diverse organization and at different levels of the business.
  • Demonstrates diligence, analytical approach and works proactively to resolve issues.
