About the position

The Associate, Product Marketing role is focused on developing and executing marketing plans and content for new product launches within the institutional investment management sector. This position involves collaboration with various teams to create marketing materials, manage projects, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also includes driving content development and supporting general marketing communications efforts to promote the firm's expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing plans and content for new product launches.
  • Participate in product planning discussions and develop communication plans.
  • Create materials for new product launches including offering memorandums, presentations, and internal training materials.
  • Work closely with investment, operations, IR, and legal teams to define product communications plans.
  • Develop educational presentations for internal teams and coordinate training.
  • Execute external webcasts to guide conversations during launches.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel on materials supporting launches and fund closes.
  • Manage multiple projects independently, meeting deliverable dates and prioritizing effectively.
  • Respond to feedback from the IR team by developing new product marketing collateral and tools.
  • Drive content projects to highlight the firm's capabilities across private markets.
  • Develop engaging content for various channels including website and email.
  • Partner with the editorial team to contribute to the content calendar and generate new content ideas.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in style and tone.
  • Collaborate with teams focused on investor communications to ensure integrated messaging.
  • Understand SEC and regulatory rules to develop compliant materials.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to distribute materials via Salesforce.
  • Assist in planning and executing overall communications strategy for marketing and client communications.
  • Identify opportunities to promote the firm's expertise through various content formats.
  • Partner with global team members to enhance marketing communications efforts globally.
  • Stay current with industry practices in marketing communications.

Requirements

  • BS/BA or equivalent education.
  • 6-8 years' experience in marketing, specifically in communications and content development.
  • Experience in institutional investment management or private equity is preferred.
  • Ability to apply strategic visioning to content development.
  • Superior teamwork skills and ability to work across functional teams.
  • Ability to distill complex investment concepts into engaging content.
  • Experience developing marketing materials with an institutional asset management focus.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing communication practices and relationship management processes.
  • Solid knowledge of financial markets, particularly private equity and private debt.
  • Familiarity with investment concepts and comfort with numbers and analysis.
  • Proven business writing ability with excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to write about complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
  • High level of initiative and attention to detail.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $85,000.
