About the position

The Associate Product Owner at Movement Mortgage plays a crucial role in enhancing and extending the company's software solutions. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand their needs, translating them into product requirements, and managing the product backlog. The Associate Product Owner will also work closely with development teams, marketing, and sales to ensure successful product adoption and alignment with the company's vision of being an Impact Lender.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully solves business problems by extending and enhancing Movement's software.
  • Collaborates with the Product Manager, business leaders, stakeholders, and customers to understand their strategic and tactical needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Contributes to defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and goals for your area.
  • Creates and maintains a clear and visible product backlog, ensuring well-defined and estimated user stories based on business value and technical dependencies that are in line with the product roadmap.
  • Works closely with the development team, participating in team ceremonies, providing clarifications on user stories and ensuring alignment with the product vision.
  • Creates process flow documentation and business requirements.
  • Actively manages deployment content, performs testing to ensure platform stability during and after releases.
  • Monitors product performance and user feedback to guide future product iterations.
  • Works closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and drive product adoption.
  • Conducts market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and industry trends.
  • Provides regular updates on product progress to stakeholders and the product team.
  • Confidently presents system demos, trainings, focus groups, and business meetings.
  • As required, provides day to day escalation and system support to end users.
