About the position

The position involves conducting experiments and tests in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires operating various testing equipment, performing failure analysis, and managing product quality inspections. The individual will also be responsible for documenting results and maintaining equipment cleanliness to ensure long-term quality.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GB Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements including QMS, EMS, FDA regulations, and company policies.
• Set up and run experiments and test apparatus following clear instructions.
• Operate electrical test stations, cathode printing equipment, microscopes, and other measuring devices.
• Perform failure analysis, initial troubleshooting, and repairs, including checking system accuracy and calibrations.
• Conduct routine product analysis using standard procedures and make accept/reject decisions based on product documents.
• Compile and summarize results of tests for evaluation by engineering support teams.
• Manage visual inspection processes on routine parts to confirm product quality and make pass/fail decisions.
• Complete documentation including reports, RMAs, DIRs, and work orders to required specifications.
• Handle 5S cleaning of all equipment to ensure long-term equipment and product quality.
• Perform other functions as required.

Requirements

• High school graduate; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of Greatbatch related work experience and/or 5 years of experience in a regulated industry required.
• Ability to read technical drawings/prints.
• Computer operation skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and detail-oriented.

• Product knowledge helpful.
