About the position

The Associate Professor of Practice in Game Design at Texas State University will lead the development and coordination of a new fully online undergraduate program in Game Design. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and coordinate a new, fully online undergraduate degree program in game design.
  • Develop regional, national, and international industry connections to provide students with internship and career opportunities.
  • Identify and recommend hiring of non-tenure line faculty to teach online courses in game design.
  • Teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced online undergraduate courses within the game design program.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Game Design.
  • 10 or more years of experience in the field of Game Design.
  • Evidence of established networks of connection to industry professionals.
  • Higher education teaching and course development experience.
