The College of Engineering & Applied Science (CEAS) and the Connected Systems Institute (CSI) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) invite applications for a tenured faculty member to be the Director of Research for CSI, with a start date of August 2025 or earlier. This strategic partnership between CEAS and CSI seeks to strengthen and expand our research leadership in Advanced Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. The Director of Research will serve as a key member of the CSI leadership team, responsible for shaping and implementing the Institute's research vision and mission. The successful candidate will collaborate with CEAS faculty, faculty from across campus, and industry partners. They will also work with UWM centers and institutes, build highly performing research teams, and contribute to engineering or computer science curriculum. The role involves actively fostering new collaborations.
