About the position

The Associate Project Controller at Power Systems Mfg., LLC is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting. This role supports project management by managing billing processes, monitoring financial milestones, and preparing financial reviews. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with established processes.

Responsibilities

• Control and maintain full knowledge of all financial movements within the project scope, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Support project management by providing accurate forecasts and options to reduce costs.
• Manage the billing and collections process for assigned projects.
• Monitor project financial milestones for timely invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Prepare quarterly financial project reviews and consolidate project financials.
• Interact with the project management team to ensure comprehensive project reviews.
• Support business finance functions with reporting of Actual vs. Forecast performance and monthly updates.
• Manage project records in SAP and maintain the Project Accounting Tool.
• Assist the offer/tender team with pricing and costing calculations, and establish revenue milestones.
• Ensure all project activities comply with implemented processes and Delegation of Authority.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP finance modules is a plus.
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work cooperatively across functions.
• Adaptable and reliable with a precise working style.
