About the position

The Associate Project Coordinator will support the Financial Ops team in managing the financial health of IT Application Delivery programs and projects. This role involves preparing variance reports, creating financial forecasts and budgets, and providing administrative support to project coordinators and program leaders. The position offers opportunities for learning and growth within the team, emphasizing collaboration and ownership of assigned projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Financial Ops team in managing the overall financial health of programs and projects.
  • Prepare and annotate variance reports.
  • Work with operating plans to create supporting financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Act as a backup for Project Coordinators in reporting, project cleanup, and SharePoint updates.
  • Handle administrative tasks for program leaders or team members.
  • Assist with scheduling and calendar management.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a corporate environment, such as financial analysis or project coordination.
  • Advanced to expert level Excel skills, including creating pivot tables and using analytics features.
  • Experience with actuals, accruals, calculating variances, invoice tracking, and expense reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with exposure to managing financials.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
