About the position

The Associate Project Manager (Transformational Change) position at Regeneron is designed for individuals with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry and project management. This role involves planning, coordinating, and leading various assignments within the Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) organization. The Associate Project Manager will act as a facilitator between functional areas, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving to advance projects and meet productivity and quality milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Functions as a leader between functional areas to facilitate the advancement of initiatives.
  • Understands and removes operational constraints using expert knowledge of IOPS quality and manufacturing operation processes.
  • Creates, maintains, and executes timelines and manages tools required for planning and coordination of deliverables.
  • Accountable for removing constraints to the advancement of efforts/projects.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage others across the business through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Assesses process issues and develops solutions to meet productivity and quality milestones and objectives.
  • Develops tools and mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem-solving with input from functional areas and management.
  • Translates ambiguity into actionable steps.
  • Ensures effective, accurate, and timely communication between global functional areas.
  • Utilizes effective and out-of-the-box problem-solving, develops solutions, and implements fixes.
  • Connects the functional areas of IOPS to lead the progression of projects by collaboratively finding solutions.
  • Defines and documents working/best practices that can be used across projects with all relevant departments.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in a physical or biological science.
  • 8+ years of industry experience, including 4 years of experience directly related to project management.
  • Proven experience in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or PMP certification.
