Axos Bank is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associate Project Manager to lead impactful projects that drive progress and innovation. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage small initiatives independently or assist Project Managers in the planning, execution, and closing phases of larger projects.
  • Track project timelines, tasks, and deliverables to ensure that milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables to align with overall business goals.
  • Support the development of project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and key milestones.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep tasks aligned with project objectives.
  • Track progress on tasks, monitor key milestones, and ensure deliverables stay on schedule.
  • Assist in maintaining clear and transparent communication with stakeholders.
  • Identify and report potential project risks, working with senior team members to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the tracking of project budgets and monitor expenses to maintain alignment with financial plans.
  • Help establish quality standards for deliverables, ensuring they meet organizational expectations.
  • Track project performance using key metrics and assist in compiling data for performance reports.
  • Support team members in completing project tasks, providing guidance and fostering a positive, productive environment.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, meeting notes, and final deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or related role.
  • Understanding of business analysis techniques, such as requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (CAPM, PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.
