Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by helping customers understand the products and services offered.
  • Follow up with customers who are undecided about renting a unit.
  • Explain lease agreements and execute them when customers are ready to move forward.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing complaints.
  • Call tenants with past due accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain clear communication with other departments as they are also considered customers.
  • Clean self-storage units and maintain cleanliness around the property and office.
  • Conduct daily walks around the property to ensure everything is functioning properly.
  • Handle cash deposits at the bank for customers who pay in cash.
  • Complete necessary paperwork such as auction files, tenant letters, and reports.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • A year of experience in the storage rental industry is preferred, but customer service management experience is also acceptable.
  • Availability for business hours from Monday-Saturday, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently or in a small team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require pushing, pulling, bending, and walking regularly.
