The Associate Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring effective management of tenant relations, maintenance, and vendor contracts. This role requires strong customer service skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a proactive approach to property management.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including maintenance and tenant relations.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
• Maintain accurate records of property files, including contracts and maintenance requests.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and maintenance protocols.
• Address tenant concerns promptly and effectively, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills.
• Proficient in contract negotiation and conflict resolution techniques.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with tenants, vendors, and team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
• Assertive nature to handle direct reports and/or vendors.
