About the position

Media Connect, the book division of Finn Partners, is seeking a passionate Associate Publicist to join us. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for storytelling. We offer the opportunity to work with authors of books across a wide variety of subject matters. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience, a familiarity with media, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. This position is a hybrid role based in our mid-town Manhattan office (in-office 2 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Pitch traditional and online media, securing features, reviews, interviews, and event opportunities for books across various genres.
• Craft compelling press materials, including press releases, pitch letters, and media kits.
• Coordinate author events, and virtual appearances.
• Provide detailed reports to clients.
• Mail review copies to media contacts.
