About the position

The Associate Quality Technician role at Sanofi involves ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) within the Quality Control department. The technician will be responsible for performing various testing and quality assurance tasks to support the production of vaccines and other healthcare solutions, contributing to the company's mission of protecting people from infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing according to the schedule defined by laboratory management to meet the demands of Production, Methods Development, Validation, Independent Demand, and the Stability Program.
  • Execute Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT).
  • Conduct Break Loose Force/Glide Force (BLF/GF) Testing.
  • Carry out service area duties such as glassware washing, waste boxing, and operating the decontamination autoclave.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Life Sciences, Associate degree in Life Sciences with 1+ years' experience, or 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a cGMP-controlled or pharmaceutical industry, including a minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Control and 1 year of experience with CCIT.
  • Familiarity with BLF/GF testing.
  • Requires strong mechanical, computer, comprehension, and retention skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in at least one area of Quality Control (QC) is required.
  • Requires influenza vaccination to work in QC laboratories.
