About the position

As an Associate Real Estate Manager at CBRE, you will oversee the operational and financial activities of a property or a small portfolio of properties. This role involves supervising a team, managing tenant relations, and ensuring that property objectives are met while adhering to the company's values and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and monitor their training and development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching for team members.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules and assigning tasks.
• Respond to escalated tenant needs and issues as the primary contact with property owners.
• Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports to property owners.
• Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses, forecasting management plans and preparing monthly performance reports.
• Help create programs for emergency recovery assistance for the property.
• Prepare all required legal notices for approval and review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Real estate license required; CPM or RPA designation preferred.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate the team and impact job quality and efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive and complicated information.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in property management or real estate operations.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting in property management.
