About the position

At Vaco, we are looking for an Executive Financial Recruiter who will play a pivotal role in connecting top talent with our clients in the finance and accounting sectors. This position is not just about filling job orders; it’s about building relationships and understanding the unique needs of our clients. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, ensuring that we match the right talent with the right opportunities. Your day may start with a call from a CFO needing urgent assistance to fill a key position, or it could involve strategizing with hiring managers to refine their candidate selection process. This role requires a proactive approach to market our services and candidates effectively, fostering long-term relationships within the finance and accounting community. As an Executive Financial Recruiter, you will manage the entire recruitment process from intake to fulfillment. This includes negotiating salaries, consulting with hiring managers, and collaborating with your team to cross-sell other lines of business. You will also be expected to achieve established sales and performance goals, contributing to the overall success of Vaco. The position demands a high level of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and strong communication skills, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders, including candidates and clients. Responsibilities

  • Market services and candidates to fulfill talent needs in accounting, finance, tax, and/or audit.
  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for client opportunities.
  • Consult hiring managers and serve as a client partner through the candidate selection process.
  • Foster long-term relationships within the accounting and finance community.
  • Develop strategies designed to qualify candidates through various tools or network.
  • Negotiate salary based on position requirements.
  • Meet with candidates in person, telephone, or video conference to assess qualifications.
  • Manage open job orders from intake to fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with to fill open positions and cross-sell other lines of business.
  • Achieve established sales and performance goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in audit, tax, and/or public accounting highly preferred.
  • CPA, CFA, MBA or other professional designation a plus.
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Bullhorn preferred.
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines; Organized, detailed, and results driven.
