About the position

The Associate Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and growing customer accounts in the food and pharmaceutical industries within the designated region. This role involves actively seeking new opportunities, managing customer relationships, and ensuring customer needs are met while promoting Loma Systems' products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Actively seek and develop new opportunities through cold calling, email, trade shows, and trade associations.
  • Identify key accounts in the region and develop action plans to gain exposure and penetration into those businesses.
  • Visit and maintain contact with customers and prospective customers to understand their needs and wants.
  • Manage customer accounts in Loma's CRM system, ensuring accurate status and activity reporting.
  • Become an expert in the application and operation of Loma and Lock products, demonstrating confidence in their use.
  • Execute consultative sales activities focusing on Loma's added value differentiators.
  • Gather competitive information and communicate it to management for consolidation and distribution.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the specification of mechanical systems and instrumentation.
  • Conduct ongoing research to maintain knowledge of the industries and key accounts.
  • Operate independently and conduct business professionally, utilizing resources efficiently.
  • Participate in trade shows and assist in planning growth goals for the region.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Business, Marketing, Market Development, or Account Management.
  • Industrial capital sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and computer skills are required.
  • Successful customer-facing experience in sales and marketing situations is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and commissions.
  • Ability to define problems and perform data analysis.
  • Positive attitude with customers and co-workers.
  • Good time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
