About the position

The Associate Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Honeycomb Insurance is responsible for managing agency partner relationships to support the company's growth in the real-estate insurance sector. This role involves qualifying prospective agencies, onboarding new partners, and ensuring a seamless experience for producers through effective communication and support. The Associate RSM will also play a crucial role in gathering feedback to enhance the company's technology platform and insurance offerings, ultimately driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify prospective insurance agencies to ensure they are collaborative partners that exceed production requirements.
  • Drive the appointment process of qualified agencies, minimizing contracting and setup time.
  • Onboard and develop new agency partner relationships, leading agency onboardings and providing training to existing producers.
  • Conduct business reviews with agency Principals to identify opportunities for efficiency and profitability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve partner issues of both technical and transactional nature.
  • Solicit feedback from Producers to improve the technology platform and insurance coverages, collaborating with the Product team for enhancements.
  • Leverage Producer relationships to create additional sales opportunities.
  • Achieve variable sales compensation by meeting and exceeding growth and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a full cycle or post-sale support capacity in insurance or B2B SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated excellence in supporting customers through the full digital B2B product journey, including implementation and technical support.
  • Ability to disqualify misaligned prospective partners while prioritizing efforts on new partners that maximize growth.
  • Aptitude for resolving customer issues of both technical and transactional nature.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment with adaptability and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience or knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly with commercial Property & Casualty and Habitational insurance products is helpful but not required.
  • Must reside in MA or CT.
