About the position

The Associate Registrar is a part-time position responsible for managing student academic records at the Ross Canton Campus. This role involves maintaining and tracking academic information, facilitating the registration process, and ensuring effective communication with students and staff. The Associate Registrar plays a crucial role in supporting student enrollment and retention efforts, while also generating reports and managing course information.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct the registration process for in-school and incoming students.
• Interact with Admissions, Regional Campus Director, and Student Success Director to ensure proper student enrollment.
• Generate reports in requested formats for in-house, support staff, and external agency use.
• Publish courses with the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Print course rosters weekly.
• Respond to student and staff questions as needed.
• Engage in continuing education on related software and recommend improvements to the Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate Degree required.
• 2 or more years of experience in a business setting, focusing on data entry and customer communication.
• 1+ years of related experience working in a post-secondary school preferred.
• Ability to protect corporate proprietary and confidential information.
• Sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to facilitate student participation.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods during teaching sessions or student appointments.
• Sufficient visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment and read materials.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Familiarity with academic record keeping and reporting.
