About The Position

CNA is seeking an Associate Research Analyst (Associate Data Scientist) to join its Data Science Division. This role involves providing research, analytical, and technical support on various projects, primarily for the Department of the Navy and Department of Defense. The position requires collaboration with colleagues to develop models and analytics that address Navy-related challenges across multiple domains. The ideal candidate will contribute to a culture of inclusivity and creativity, supporting effective solutions through data-driven approaches.

Requirements

• Minimum master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a relevant field.
• 0+ years of experience in research and analysis, typically requiring a Master's degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage databases and organize information effectively.
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of research techniques and effective communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Familiarity with statistical modeling and data visualization techniques.

Responsibilities
