Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory and translational research on diseases of the alimentary tract.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and physicians.
• Investigate molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis and disease pathogenesis.
• Utilize advanced mouse models and stem cell research in projects.
• Engage in studies involving the microbiome, neural signaling, tumor immunity, and autoimmunity.
• Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

Requirements

• MD, PhD, or both in a relevant field.
• Background in research specialty in the Department of Medicine.
