The Associate Sales Consultant position at IQVIA is designed for individuals interested in medical device sales, particularly in the orthopedic field. This role involves supporting medical device sales representatives by providing clinical and technical assistance during surgical procedures.   • Assist client's sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers.
  • Support product conversions with new customers and assist in attaining established sales goals.
  • Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room with product knowledge and proper utilization of products.
  • Attend surgeries to ensure proper equipment availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance, manage hospital billing, and create/close purchase orders.
  • Share insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams to improve service levels.
  • Provide consultation in the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department.
  • Maintain and track equipment and assets to ensure product availability.
  • Ensure promotional materials are presentable and meet quality standards.
  • Analyze product performance and optimize environments for product utilization.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and retention, differentiating products from competitors.
  • Participate in the commercialization of new products and solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college required, or an Associate's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
  • Certified Surgical Technician or specialized medical training with 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team structure.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in complex environments.
  • Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures preferred.
  • Understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and wear protective gear in a clinical setting.

  • Competitive salary range of $60,000-70,000 annually.
