About the position

The Associate Sales Development Representative (ASDR) at OpenEye is a vital role focused on driving revenue growth through lead generation and qualification. This position involves building relationships with potential customers and scheduling meetings for account executives. The ASDR will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to implement effective outreach strategies and maintain accurate records of sales activities. This role is ideal for self-starters eager to develop their sales skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential customers using various tools and techniques, including social media and CRM systems.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media messages to engage with prospects and generate interest in OpenEye's products and services.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, challenges, and potential fit with OpenEye's solutions.
  • Schedule meetings and demos for the account executive team with qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM system (SalesForce).
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective outreach strategies.
  • Follow up with prospects who have shown interest but have not yet committed to a meeting.
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and key metrics to the Sales Development Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and appointment setting.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach) and other sales tools.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves
