About the position

The Associate Sales District Manager (ADSM) is an entry-level position within the sales team, focusing on developing and maintaining customer relationships in a designated district to achieve sales goals for security products, specifically in intrusion and access control. The role involves collaboration with various teams to provide sales support, enhance distributor relationships, and promote Bosch products through training and events. The ADSM will also be responsible for identifying new sales channels and responding promptly to customer issues.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues from Training, Inside Sales, and Presales to provide sales support for customers.
  • Strengthen and enhance specified National and Regional Distributor relationships at the district level.
  • Grow purchase volumes with existing assigned dealers and identify new partners.
  • Collaborate with the Sales District Manager and Regional Sales Director on district strategy.
  • Leverage Business Development, Product Support, and Marketing teams to identify new sales channels.
  • Support business development efforts at A&E, end-user, distributor, and dealer levels.
  • Provide same or next day response for customer issues.
  • Promote Bosch products through events such as road shows and trade shows.
  • Provide sales opportunity, pipeline, and customer information using CRM tools.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
  • Demonstrated background of successful sales of micro-electronic products or computer technology.
  • Must be technically savvy and able to learn complex products and systems quickly.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, listening, presenting, and written).
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to support and solve customer problems with a dynamic, positive approach.
  • Must be able to travel at least 50-70%.
  • Must reside within the area they will represent.
