About the position

The Associate Sales Engineer at Hasura plays a crucial role in driving product adoption by providing technical guidance and support to customers during their evaluation journey. This position involves working closely with potential customers, assisting sales teams, and representing Hasura at events, all while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to customer questions during evaluations and via Zoom.
  • Work across the business to ensure customers have access to the right teams based on their needs.
  • Support sales teams in answering customer product questions.
  • Assist with product demonstrations and real-time customer inquiries.
  • Represent Hasura at conferences and events.
  • Identify ways to improve customer support and increase satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Empathetic and customer-satisfaction driven.
  • Experience as a subject matter expert with the ability to explain product knowledge concisely.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, REST/GraphQL, and proficiency in backend engineering languages (Java, NodeJS, Python, etc).
  • Familiarity with open-source, App and API development terminology.
  • Highly motivated individual who thrives on achieving monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
