About the position

The Associate Sales Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the sales teams of our premier SaaS client in Lehi, UT. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving sales environment. The analyst will work directly with Sales Managers, Sales Operations, and Sales Insight teams to provide timely and accurate analytics that will help manage the sales team's efforts effectively. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines. In this position, the Associate Sales Operations Analyst will assist Sales Managers and their teams in providing accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and ad hoc reporting. They will be responsible for identifying problem areas within the sales organization and collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions that enhance business flow. The analyst will also work closely with internal departments to resolve open items and ensure that all necessary paperwork is in place prior to deal closure. Additionally, the Associate Sales Operations Analyst will support the end-of-quarter sales efforts by driving sales orders and approvals through internal data entry processing. They will assist the sales team with deal structuring to maximize value for the company while ensuring quota attainment. This role also involves sharing knowledge and best practices with other Sales Operations Managers to facilitate standardization across the sales organization. The analyst will exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions and will plan and implement projects for account and territory selection to optimize sales team performance for the upcoming year.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with sales reps and managers to achieve sales goals by providing timely sales analytics including pipeline analysis, best practices, pipeline efficiencies and sales results.
  • Identify problem areas and pain points within the organization, collaborating with sales operations and sales managers to find solutions.
  • Collaborate to identify issues and solutions to improve business flow for the sales teams.
  • Work with internal front and back office departments to resolve open items and close deals, ensuring all necessary paperwork is in place prior to deal closure.
  • Support the end-of-quarter sales effort by assisting in driving all sales orders and approvals through internal data entry processing.
  • Assist sales team with needs related to processing through internal systems and processes (e.g. Salesforce.com).
  • Assist sales team with deal structuring to ensure best value for the company while maximizing quota attainment.
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and facilitate standardization across the sales organization.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Plan and implement projects for account and territory selection to optimize the sales team for next year planning.

Requirements

  • Experience with financial and project data analysis.
  • Finance background, familiar with budgeting, capex, opex, depreciation, building financial models and ROI.
  • Excel Expert, including pivot tables and data modeling experience.
  • Metrics and Data Analytics Professional with experience in Executive level PowerPoint Reporting Systems such as Tableau.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a Sales Operations, Finance or other analytical role.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance.
  • Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain cross-functional relationships.
  • Must have a 'can do' attitude and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Salesforce CRM experience is a plus.
