About the position

The Associate Sales Specialist for the Midwest Region at Edwards Lifesciences is a key sales role within the Advanced Patient Monitoring division, focusing on establishing and managing relationships with potential customers in the Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD) and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) settings. This position involves identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities for critical care products that enhance surgical recovery and manage patient conditions such as hypotension and sepsis. The role requires a dynamic and passionate marketer to support the advancement of care for surgical and critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with a defined list of potential Edwards customers within the assigned territory.
  • Establish a new market for Edwards Critical Care in the HOPD and ASC settings.
  • Work with a diverse set of customers including surgeons, intensivists, and anesthesiologists.
  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities for critical care products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 70%

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling B2B or Clinical Sales
  • Experience selling into the HOPD call points
  • Ability to sell products that require physician behavior change and disruptive technology
  • Ability to get results in a multi-level hospital selling environment (C-Suite, Purchasing, Physicians, Nurses)
  • Proven clinical knowledge of continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring and cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
