About the position

The Associate Sales Specialist for the Midwest Region in BD Advanced Patient Monitoring is a dynamic sales role focused on managing relationships with potential customers in the Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD) and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) settings. This position is integral to establishing a new market for Edwards Critical Care products, which are essential for surgical recovery and critical care management. The role involves working closely with a diverse range of healthcare professionals to identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities, contributing to the advancement of care for surgical and critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with a defined list of potential Edwards customers within the assigned territory.
  • Establish a new market for Edwards Critical Care in the HOPD and ASC settings.
  • Work with surgeons, intensivists, materials management, anesthesiologists, and critical care professionals.
  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities for capital and disposable products.
  • Promote products that assist in enhanced surgical recovery and critical care management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 70%

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling B2B or Clinical Sales
  • Experience selling into the HOPD call points
  • Ability to sell products that require physician behavior change and disruptive technology
  • Ability to achieve results in a multi-level hospital selling environment
  • Proven clinical knowledge of continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring and cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
