About the position

The Associate Sales Specialist for the Midwest Region at Edwards Lifesciences is a key sales role within the Critical Care division, focusing on establishing and managing relationships with potential customers in the Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD) and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) settings. This position is integral to the Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) team, which is dedicated to innovative solutions for surgical and critically ill patients. The role involves identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities while working closely with a diverse set of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with a defined list of potential Edwards customers within the assigned territory.
  • Establish a new market for Edwards Critical Care in the HOPD and ASC settings.
  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities.
  • Engage with surgeons, intensivists, materials management, anesthesiologists, and critical care professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 70%

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling B2B or Clinical Sales
  • Experience selling into the HOPD call points
  • Ability to sell products that require physician behavior change and disruptive technology
  • Ability to achieve results in a multi-level hospital selling environment (C-Suite, Purchasing, Physicians, Nurses)
  • Proven clinical knowledge of continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring and cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
