About the position

The Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD) Associate Sales Specialist is a key role within the Critical Care division of Becton Dickinson (BD), focusing on establishing new markets for Edwards Critical Care products in the Hospital Outpatient Department and Ambulatory Surgical Center settings. This position involves managing relationships with a defined list of potential customers, including surgeons, intensivists, and anesthesiologists, to identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities. The role is part of a dynamic global team dedicated to advancing care for surgical and critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with a defined list of potential Edwards customers within an assigned territory.
• Establish a new market for Edwards Critical Care in the Hospital Outpatient Department and Ambulatory Surgical Center settings.
• Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities with diverse customers including surgeons, intensivists, and anesthesiologists.
• Promote primary products including capital and disposables for continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring and tissue oximetry devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to travel up to 70%

Nice-to-haves

• Experience selling B2B or Clinical Sales
• Experience selling into the HOPD call points
• Ability to sell products that require physician behavior change and disruptive technology
• Ability to get results in a multi-level hospital selling environment (C-Suite, Purchasing, Physicians, Nurses)
• Proven clinical knowledge of continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring and cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
