About the position

The Associate Scientist / Scientist I position at TCG Labs-Soleil focuses on in vitro pharmacology, where the selected candidate will contribute to drug discovery efforts by designing and optimizing biochemical and cell-based assays. This role requires collaboration with various teams to analyze data and provide insights that drive project decisions, all while maintaining meticulous records of experiments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize in vitro biochemical and cell-based assays to assess potential drug candidate activities.
  • Collaborate with in vivo pharmacology scientists to support endpoint sample analysis or establish ex vivo cellular assays.
  • Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and generate actionable insights for project decision-making.
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally with colleagues in antibody discovery or protein science.
  • Maintain meticulous records of experiments and electronic lab notebook entries.
  • Provide regular progress updates and present data at internal team meetings.

Requirements

  • M.S. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or other relevant discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience, or B.S. with equivalent experience.
  • Strong cell culture skills including experience with cell lines and primary cells.
  • Extensive experience in developing and optimizing cell-based assays using platforms such as flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD, Luminex, and qPCR.
  • Experience in molecular and cell biology techniques such as CRISPR, cell transfection, and stable cell line generation.
  • Experience working on cellular models of diverse disease areas, including immune-related diseases and oncology.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using relevant software and statistical tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in drug discovery processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in drug development.
