About the position

The Associate SEO/SEM Analyst at Sentry is responsible for combining SEO knowledge with data reporting skills to design and deliver performance reporting and SEO dashboards. This role aims to identify trends and opportunities to increase conversions, while collaborating with various teams to enhance marketing processes and ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of standard and ad hoc reports containing complex data sets to demonstrate campaign results and program performance.
  • Analyze findings to detect trends, uncover insights, identify barriers, and highlight opportunities.
  • Provide SEO leadership with recommendations to improve marketing processes and Return on Investments (ROI).
  • Identify key conversion points in the marketing funnel through qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Analyze findings to detect root causes of gains and/or losses in traffic and/or conversions and determine necessary changes.
  • Assist with the development and execution of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategies to increase revenue.
  • Implement and maintain online tracking tools to analyze user behavior and fuel future testing hypotheses.
  • Partner with SEO Analyst to build and manage optimization tests in concert with other marketing teams.
  • Analyze results and translate findings into recommendations to improve overall website performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and IT teams to implement changes.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and cross-channel performance reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to marketing and business leadership.
  • Partner with Advanced Analytics to share data and create integrated reporting that measures results.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on SEM campaigns through various channels that drive relevant traffic to websites.
  • Research and forecast traffic potential/KPIs from various paid search channels.
  • Manage landing pages, website CTAs, and lead-generating forms to optimize conversion funnels.
  • Maintain awareness of CRO best practices and analyze trends to improve processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
  • Experience in data models and creating best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.
  • Strong analytical skills for clear analysis and sound data-based decision-making.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Organizational skills to coordinate, request, and control data from numerous sources.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Optimize, Optimizely, Tableau, Excel, Google Data Studio.
