The Associate Social Media and Community Manager at Henry Schein is a pivotal role responsible for developing and executing social media strategies and objectives that align with the company's goals. The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Service and Support, Product, Legal, Engineering, and Human Resources, to understand their unique objectives and challenges. This understanding is crucial for optimizing processes and enhancing communication across the organization. In this role, the manager will define Henry Schein One's ongoing position on social media by identifying effective goals and strategies. This includes managing relationships with social media marketing, monitoring, management, and analytics vendors to ensure optimal investment and engagement. The manager will oversee engagement and communication across all social media communities, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and emerging channels, to foster community engagement and drive brand awareness. The position also involves executing ongoing monitoring of brand social channels and relevant online conversations to identify opportunities for engagement while surfacing customer insights. The manager will gauge sentiment and inform strategic content development by extracting meaningful qualitative and quantitative insights from the communities. Engaging with influencers and the community through social listening and proactive outreach is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the manager will evolve and improve community engagement strategies and guidelines, ideate and execute unique social media activations, and contribute to channel-specific programming calendars that cater to targeted audiences. Ensuring that social media experiences and campaigns meet marketing objectives and branding guidelines is essential to protect the integrity of the Henry Schein One and product brands while driving sales to benefit the business. The role champions innovative social media and marketing programs in the B2B Healthcare space, delivering dynamic and high-value online experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates with internal stakeholder groups including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Service and Support, Product, Legal, Engineering and Human Resources to understand their unique goals, objectives and challenges and optimize processes and communication across the organization.
  • Defines Henry Schein One's ongoing position on the use of social media by identifying effective goals and strategies.
  • Optimizes investments in and manages company relationships with social media marketing, monitoring, management, and analytics vendors.
  • Manages engagement, communication, and strategy across all Henry Schein One social media communities, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and emerging channels to engage community and drive brand awareness and affinity.
  • Executes ongoing monitoring of brand social channels and relevant online conversations, identifying opportunities to engage, while understanding, addressing, and surfacing customer insights.
  • Gauges sentiment and informs strategic development of content by surfacing meaningful qualitative and quantitative insights from our communities.
  • Engages with influencers and the community through social listening and proactive outreach.
  • Evolves, adapts, and improves our community engagement strategies and guidelines.
  • Ideates and executes unique, engaging social media activations to develop innovative custom content tailored to each channel/community.

Requirements

  • Typically 6 to 8 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
  • Experience in managing social media and community for large brands, particularly in regulated industries.
  • Prior experience with social media and digital communication tools.
  • Willing to experiment with new approaches and tools.
  • Expertise in creating processes and guidelines for scalability.
  • Good instinct and strong judgement, especially in scenarios that require quick decision-making.
