About the position
Veeva Systems is seeking recent engineering graduates for its Engineering Development Program (EDP), designed to cultivate skills in building scalable multi-tenant cloud software. Participants will engage in a dynamic and agile software development environment, contributing to design discussions and all stages of the software lifecycle while working closely with experienced leaders in small teams. This role emphasizes collaboration and innovation, allowing new engineers to make impactful contributions from the outset.
Responsibilities
- Participate in technical and functional design discussions.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively in small teams to develop software solutions.
- Engage in agile software development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics with a 3.3 GPA or higher.
- Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design).
- Desire to work in enterprise software.
- Proficient in Java.
- Located near Pleasanton, CA and able to work in the office 4 days/week.
Nice-to-haves
- Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and React.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
- Relevant internship/project experience.
