The Associate Sport Director at the Dallas YMCA plays a crucial role in promoting healthy kids, families, and communities through youth sports programs. The Associate Sport Director will support the Regional Sports Director in the effective administration of various sports programs at the Richardson YMCA.

Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Sports Director in the administration of sports programs.
• Encourage family involvement and healthy competition among participants.
• Promote team-building and individual development in youth sports.
• Ensure compliance with YMCA guidelines and training requirements.
• Manage facilities, equipment, and program logistics as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of soccer, baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, and other sports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Current driver's license with an acceptable record and vehicle liability insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in leadership roles within sports programs.
• Certifications related to sports management or coaching.
