Associate Sprouts Brand Creative & Design Manager

About the position

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a collection of categories within the Sprouts Brand portfolio. This position will own and manage a cohesive strategy for Seasonal projects, line extensions and individual product groups. Enhance brand equity by creating an emotional connection with our customers through creativity, innovation and inspiration. Partner cross functionally with Marketing to develop plans that support the lifecycle of a new item through a variety of channels. Assist in creating plans to support the brand portfolio and new item launch plans including marketing, promotional planning, digital couponing and other tactics.

Responsibilities

• Manage a collection of categories within the Sprouts Brand portfolio; Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product brand management
• Enhance brand equity through innovation guidance, product portfolio management, brand planning, marketing and communications
• Partner with brand team to maintain all Sprouts Brand assets across categories and departments for consistent execution
• Develop all creative packaging design briefs for new items and redesigns
• Maintain awareness of Sprouts brand and marketing strategies and competitive activity
• Partner collaboratively with cross functional team within Sprouts Brand (strategy and packaging) to ensure continued alignment
• Collaborate with Packaging Managers on product photography and artwork revisions
• Collaborate with Merchandising and Marketing to build and support a cohesive plan that fuels category and brand growth
• Partner with Marketing to supply plans for monthly coupons, deals of the month, trending new items and other promo vehicles
• Identify opportunities for new, useful and creative content opportunities
• Conduct retail store visits to evaluate store execution and overall brand effectiveness

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor Degree in Business or related field with three (3) years of experience in managing packaging design creative, brand marketing; merchandising or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of how to represent a consumer brand well across a variety of communication channels
• Ability to remain positive and flexible to manage uncertainty and change
• Strong editing and proofreading skills based on the rules in the Sprouts Editorial Style Guide
• Incredibly detail-minded and results-oriented
• Show a high degree of organization and self-motivation
• Thorough understanding Microsoft Office suite
• Some travel required
