About the position

The Associate Director, Performance Creative Strategy at Dentsu Creative is responsible for leading the strategy across media and creative disciplines for a global tech client. This role involves developing strategic briefs, coordinating with creative and media teams, and utilizing data insights to drive performance. The position requires strong client management skills and the ability to facilitate discussions that align with client goals. The Associate Director will report to the Director, Performance Creative and will play a key role in guiding the team towards innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative test strategies and roadmaps, coordinating with other agency teams for execution and measurement.
  • Lead the development of creative briefs outlining strategy, goals, requirements, and target audiences.
  • Use insight tools to develop meaningful audience insights for creative implementation.
  • Organize client challenges to find solutions that enhance brand performance across the full-funnel experience.
  • Collaborate with media teams to understand channel strategies and audience breakdowns for full funnel activation.
  • Ensure tracking of tasks and deliverables with Accounts and PMs.
  • Translate client challenges into inspiring creative strategies with creative teams.
  • Act as a solutions architect, integrating various Dentsu services.
  • Work with a diverse team to develop ideas, content programs, and technology blueprints.
  • Build decision trees to visualize messaging logic for consumers.
  • Ensure accurate project quoting for finance and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience in a marketing position.
  • 3+ years' experience developing performance and creative strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of Dynamic Creative Optimization and DCO platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Experience motivating clients and teams to solve marketing challenges creatively.
  • Ability to translate data into insights for strategic communication planning.
  • Strong storytelling skills with a curious mindset to uncover insights and opportunities.
  • Fluency in multiple marketing research tools and methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with social listening tools.
  • Familiarity with direct mail and UX strategies.
