About the position

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a full-time Associate Supply Chain Operations Analyst focused on Warranty/Repair/Returns at its Greentree, PA facility, located just outside of Pittsburgh. This role is integral to ensuring that warranty and repair issues are addressed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the supply chain operations. The position offers a unique opportunity to engage with various stakeholders, including the Equipment Helpdesk, plant personnel, and sales teams, to resolve warranty and repair issues while adhering to company policies and guidelines. The analyst will be responsible for arranging the return of failed units and collaborating with Nalco plants and vendors to evaluate, repair, and restock returned materials for future sales. Approximately 75% of the work will be conducted via phone or computer systems, with the remaining 25% involving hands-on interaction with returned materials. This position also includes providing backup support for other logistics and operations personnel as needed. The work environment is hybrid, allowing for a balance between office days and remote work, provided the candidate resides within a commutable distance of the Greentree, PA plant. The role requires a Monday to Friday work week on the first shift, making it suitable for those seeking a stable work-life balance. Responsibilities

  • Work with the Equipment Helpdesk, plant personnel, and salespeople to solve warranty/repair issues within general policies and guidelines.
  • Arrange for return of failed units, and work with Nalco plants and vendors to have returned material evaluated, repaired, and stocked for future sale.
  • Approximately 75% of the position is performed on the phone or via a computer system, while the remaining 25% involves interaction with the returned materials.
  • Provide backup for other Logistics and Operations personnel as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field of study.
  • Excellent customer service, phone, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient working with computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels to solve problems and identify solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Two years of prior parts and service desk experience or similar experience.
  • Strong preference for those with experience working with SAP ERP system.
  • Familiarity with different types of small feed and dosing systems and components, such as pumps, motors, valves, fittings, etc.
