About the position

The Associate, Systems Analyst (Commercial Asset Management) at Hyundai Capital America will play a crucial role in supporting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more digital products and platforms. This position is integral to the Digital Transformation team, which focuses on producing digital thought leadership through benchmarks, external research, and vendor relationships. The analyst will engage with various internal and external stakeholders, including internal departments, OEM digital teams, and global partners, to enhance HCA's digital offerings. The primary focus will be on incubating emerging technologies that improve HCA's digital products and platforms, overseeing the entire product development life cycle from ideation to implementation. In this role, the Associate will collaborate closely with key business and IT partners, as well as vendors, to manage the creation of new services, solutions, or products. This includes conducting design sprints, prototype building, and testing. The analyst will be heavily involved in product planning, detailed analysis and design, requirements gathering, and testing in preparation for product deployment. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of the business and technology landscape to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and enhance operational efficiency. The Associate will also serve as the Alfa Systems Analyst, managing system configuration, profiles, account maintenance, and creating dashboards and reports. They will support the management in developing and maintaining HCA's primary digital products, collaborating with operations and other functional areas to define and shape innovative solutions. The role demands a thorough understanding of product life cycle management, including collecting and prioritizing customer requirements to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features that meet customer satisfaction goals. Additionally, the analyst will conduct benchmarking studies to identify technology and innovation gaps against best-in-class market players, providing valuable insights for HCA's strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Alfa Systems Analyst by collaborating with internal and external partners to manage system configuration, profiles, provide account maintenance, create dashboards & reports, and provide support & training.
  • Support management on the development and maintenance of one or more of HCA's primary digital products; Collaborate with operations and other functional areas to understand business problems, define, and shape innovative solutions.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including collecting / prioritizing customer requirements, and ensuring delivery of high-quality features on time to achieve defined customer satisfaction goals.
  • Support activities pertaining to product configuration and updating of Alfa business rules, credit regulatory laws and standards (Usury laws).
  • Perform best practices benchmarking studies by leveraging all available sources including internal/ public information and SME interviews and provide valuable implications for HCA to close technology/innovation gaps against best-in-class market players.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of alfa or contract/ asset/portfolio management system application experience
  • Previous experience in a digital product / channel management role with exposure to a dealer / customer facing environment and/or back-office operations.
  • General knowledge of the Auto Finance Industry.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of Agile project methodology and project implementation as functional expert of application.
  • Working knowledge of user interface design principles and user/ customer experience.
  • Ability to problem solve using data, analytics, business acumen, and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to influence corporate direction working closely with senior management and excellent oral/written skills.
  • Comfort operating in global environments across locations, and time zones.
