About the position

The Associate Systems DV Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for developing, executing, and approving system-level automated tests for design verification of products before their commercial release. This role involves collaboration with other engineers to ensure high-quality products and effective testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and develop expertise with existing tools and testing automation frameworks for Android, iOS, and Web Services applications.
  • Apply knowledge within existing automated tests to match requirements changes and understand system performance.
  • Operate automated tests, record results, and document issues during formal test cycles.
  • Conduct dry-runs of new and updated automated Test Cases.
  • Perform manual scripted and exploratory testing to support new feature development and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with Systems, development, and test engineers to develop test automation procedures and protocols for design verification.
  • Identify and correct issues in collaboration with Systems, development, and test engineers.
  • Review automated Test Cases to ensure coverage of typical use and edge cases.
  • Draft protocols for verification and validation of test tools.
  • Draft reports and log issues for executed verification tests.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of technical project work.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0 - 2 Years of software development experience developing automated tests and frameworks for Mobile, Web, and API testing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong software skills including Python, Java, Junit or TestNG.
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP protocols (REST/SOAP) and API testing.
  • Knowledge of Android or iOS technology stack.
  • Knowledge of SCM tools (Git, Bitbucket).
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
